Does anybody else agree with me?
Why GW takes skill:
-Interupting those 1/4 cast time spells
-Monking
-Target calling, spiking
-Kiting
-Teamwork
-Knowing what ur supposed to do
I have never played an MMO, or for that, an RPG that takes as much skill as this game. Anyone else agree?

All MMOs take quite a bit of skill especially when it comes down to pvp/team pvp. It's just that guild wars is more amied towards pvp than your general MMO (go see the wow vs guildwars thread.)

I love you too.
But they do take skill, whether it's organizing sequences or managing mana. I'm not saying it takes a ton of "skill" but there is some there.

Any multiplayer game that requires you to play as a group takes skill, in the sense that you have to be willing to work with your team mates effectively.
And would you be so kind as to change your title as to something less likely to start a bunch of worthless flaming... pretty please?

I think Guild Wars takes more skill than WoW because you can only choose 8 different skills from over 100. In WoW you bring almost all your skills. Guild Wars takes a lot more planning for what you are going to do.

Wouldn't skill be being able to make the best out of what you have, and coming out on top, or at least putting up a good fight? It seems that options and skill are being confused a wee bit. If skill means "Oh, player B is such and such class, thus is weak to such and such attacks, I as player A can use this and this skill and pwn his ass no matter what... blah blah blah," that is hardly a definition of skill.
This shall be debated further after aquiring GW ... many MANY days from now...

Well no...
In Guild Wars your ever pass through a persistnt section of the game in relation to your server.
You can call it an MMO by technicality, but Its been said before that its best not to consider Guild Wars as an MMO in order to understand its apeal.
CORPG stand for Competitive Online Role Playing Game by comfirmation of Arena Net themselves, I have no idea what Locke is talking about hes problably too obsessed with his post count to think properly

Dont be bloody stupid, every single MMO takes a certain degree of skill to play especially in PvP and hard PvE situations. The fact that someone could acctually believe that only one of hundreds of MMOs out there acctually needs skill to play well is bloody rediculous. :|:|:|

Then maybe a rephrase of question? Guild Wars: Only MMO thats takes a acceptable amount of more skill than other MMOs?
