Gens is probably easier considering it was made by EA/Westwood who have had an easy micro system since Red Alert

Starcraft is definately easier to micro in. There isn't anything such as planes that have a set amount of ammo, that can waste bullets if microed incorrectly, or units that can fire while moving, and have low health in starcraft. Starcraft is just attackmove/retreat/dance/cast

So is Gens. Instead of ammo you'll have mana. SC is more micro intensive because of melee units. You'll have to flank more effeciently.
Wc3x and SCBW are the most skilled games available. They require equal amount of skill in my eyes.

Zero Hour infantry are harder to micro though, IMO because there's more anti-infantry units and they can be run over.

Agreed 100%.
This is from a guy who's played both games.
Micro is alot harder than RA2 actually, RA2 was pretty much macro all.
Melee units don't add that much micro, because you can just tell them to engage and they do just that.
In ZH, you have to micro so that your units stay in firing range but stay out of the other units stay out
of firing range, etc.
Honestly in Competitive ZH, most infantry are carried around and ejected at their target locations.

Splits ftw? Seriously, try microing 12 Scourges, 2 to each unit in less then a second.

No. With ranged units only thing you gotta do is keep optimal distance, dance if needed, and then focus fire. With melee units you'll have to dance, focus and flank. Optimal distance is also need when you need to trap units and still stay out of line of fire.
This is from a guy who has played most RTS, and the most popular on a competitive level.

I'm going to guess you never played ZH... There is no energy/mana/ammo system in ZH. It's the fact that if you shoot a fast moving target with an RPG trooper, it doesn't hit. If your unit is moving, it shoots slower, but can avoid siege weapons/RPGs, but if it's still, it can shoot a lot faster, but is more vulnerable.

Never played either, LOL.
Always up for Gen IV Pokemon battling and trading - just shoot me a PM.

I've never really microed like Jeremy does, mainly because I have a hard time memorizing the hotkeys. Anyone know some good ideas of how to easily memorize them?

Zero Hour.
I dreamed I was a butterfly, flitting around in the sky; then I woke up.
Now I wonder: Am I a man who dreamed of being a butterfly, or am I a butterfly dreaming that I am a man?
