I've never played CoD, so I wouldn't know what to say about it.
I have played UT2004, and It's alot of fun. I suggest you go for that.

For a fast paced multiplayer shooter that takes ALOT of skill, get UT 2004. For a WWII based single-player shooter, get CoD. Multiplayer isn't the greatest.

That's probably what I'm gonna buy, honestly. I played the UT2k4 demo recently, and it's too much like Quake 4 for my tastes.

There are so many multiplayer maps on cod:uo.. plus the custom ones.
The tanks get on my nerves but after a while, you know how to kill them easy (one shot in the back with an anti tank weapon)

I haven't really played ut2k4 but I've played quite a bit of CoD1/2 and it all comes down to which type you like more, fast or slow paced, you seem to already have made up your mind though so... well gl in uo

Yar I prefer more realistic FPSes rather than bunny hopping and rocket launchers, lol.
