well i was wondering if anyone could help me with ram. my ram is ddr2 but all i can find is ddr4 and i was wondering if any of you knew of any sits that sold ddr2 for a good price i got about 120$ and im looking for one or two gigs

DDR4 isnt in production for system RAM, and no platform supports it. u must be mistaken
EVERYONE sells DDR2 memory. where do u live, and ill point u to a site?

120$ for 2 gigs isnt gunna happen but this is the best price i could find

thanks man i think i may got with that i just hope its good ram. o and sould i buy some heat spreaders because i herd they are the safe way to go.

only buy heatspreaders if your ocing. and are u 100% sure u have DDR2, whats your mobo.

heatspreaders actually insulate more heat than they help. when doing a real overclock, most people REMOVE the heatspreaders

intel 945g express. it has 4 slots and 2 samsung 256mb sticks in it now. total of 4 slots max supported 4 gb or memory. o and right now i have a crappy ass 305 watt psu im going up upgrade soon but will that hold 2 gigs of memory

oo ight it supports the DDR2, the corsair is actually descent ram. you should get it, and remove ur 2 x 256 it will just probably downclock ur ram's potential, and remmber put ur 2 x 1gb sticks in slot A1 + B1 for dual channel

ull CERTAINLY see a difference going from 512 to 1gig. the rest of the jump wont be nearly as apparent

ull see a great difference when playing games such as oblivion and battlefield 2 when going 512 to 2 gigs
