I made these pics from scratch using photoshop following a tut.....a bit of feedback would be nice (constructive if possible), and im still learning to any pro tips would be much appriciated

I think the first pic looks pretty cool - try giving that first pic where the turquoise is a bit more blur there.

I did something similar here.

did you use a tutorial (if so could you post a link to it) or are you too good for things like tutorials...and make them yourself to help amatures like me

I didn't use a tutorial for mine - just figured it out, it's not hard at all, you just use the noise filters and the eraser tool along with some lens flares and render cloud effects to help with the "haze / gas".

There are plenty of starfield tutorials around that will help you create an effect similar to mine though - just google and you'll find loads. I just had a quick google and came up with these two that look similar to mine:

p.s. is that your cat, cos i got one thats a bit similar but black and MEGA fat, it hates everyone but me as well which i dont mind cos it makes me feel like its my personal guard cat...just a not very enegetic one
