My friend has a Nvidia GeForce 256 and the terrian on generals is black, and I tried to find some drivers for this card on their website but the one I downloaded did not work for him.
Can anyone find the drivers for this card if there are any? Or does he have to live the black terrian bug? Please, help, the game runs fast and good, but its just annoying.
(Edit: As I played it on his computer it would turn white and shift back sometimes.)
I already tried these drivers but it didn't work:

So does this card have drivers or does he have to live with it? Its very annoying when I played, I don't know how he stands it.

Gens/ZH terrian problem

Those are the correct dirvers yes. But there is no such thing as a Gforce 256 lol...

Crap i automatically assumed he meant a 256 meg card - i didnt think anyone would be running a geforce256... shit!

Well it runs Gens like my old 5700 so yah. (It ran just a bit slower than my 7800 GT OC I currently have)
He can't upgrade at the moment and the game isn't so slow so stop telling me how old it is and to get a new card. I knew it would happen and its annoying.
I want help with the problem... So if those are the right drivers, why is he getting installation issues with it?

If it worked fine at one point in its life... its drivers...
However I am suspecting the GPU itself cannot render the terrain properly. So thats why i said to get a new one.

Okay, thanks for giving me a actually reason to buy the card.
(He has AGP x4, is there any cheap card that can run Gens/ZH without lag and Empire at War? Maybe some FPS's like C&C Renegade and stuff too?)
