So I got this new laptop and downloaded GW unto it and ran it by logging in. Then every couple half an hour to about 2 hours it bluescreens and I gotta restart my computer. I have no idea what to do and I've tried turning down the graphics on the game and everthing.

I'm a n00b when it comes to this sort of kind of stuff so any help would be much appreciated.

Oh an BTW GW = Guild Wars.

Guild Wars ftw!

Maybe your computer doesn't have enough memory for it? It might be your computer, not the game, so I suggest clearing up some space, dunno if that helps.

Maybe you should tell us what the blue screen says...
CODE
while(!asleep()) {
                    sheep++;
}

Guild wars is 50 bucks. No monthly fees. You can dl the client from the guildwars site as long as you have an account.

The bluescreen says something about shutting off gw to prevent it from doing illegal stuff or screwing my comp. i'll get the pic later.

Is -windows- bluescreening (i.e. BSOD, memory dump, you have to reboot), or is just GW shutting down?
CODE
while(!asleep()) {
                    sheep++;
}

I think its BSoD heres what it says.

A problem has been detected and Windows has been shut down to prevent damage
to your computer.

An attempt was made to write to read-only memory.

If this is the first time you've seen this error screen,
restart your computer. If this screen appears again, follow
these steps:

Check to make sure any new hardware or software is properly installed.
If this is a new installation, ask your hardware or software manufacturer
for any Windows updates you might need.

If problems continue, disable or remove any newly installed hardware
or software. Disable BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing.
If you need to use Safe Mode to remove or disable components, restart
your computer, press F8 to select Advanced Startup Options, and then
select Safe Mode.

Specs? NDIS is a network driver. Is it always NDIS when it comes up? It's sounding like a driver interfacing with the kernel badly. Does this happen during other heavy usage (torrents/whatever)? Are you on wireless or wired?

Specs (From my limited knowledge):
2ghz processor
1gb of memory
graphics card unknown but decent enough to handle modern games (i can look up later)

I'm running a wireless network with that laptop and i'm pretty sure its always NDiS
