As for critique, I think it looks pretty good. Good use of C4D and flow, but the only qualm I have with it is that the render stands out a lot. (but I can tell that you wanted it too, so its all good). I'd give it an 8.5 out of 10

as for Hades' new tag, it does look great. Not a lot to get in the way of the render like my sigs, but it still blends well and has a lot of effects to look at. 9.0 out of 10

I made a new sig, I couldn't really decide what colors to use, so I made a few different versions, and an animated one too. Comments and Crituiqe are welcome and appreciated!

I like those, SN3S. Especially the ones with the vibrant beam. The only thing I'd suggest is to use the soft brush with the eraser tool and just pick a little out of the transparent bar near his head. I donno, it's just what I'd do.

Yay, more people using image transparency to their advantage. It's good, the colors are nice. The transition between them is a little too drastic for me, though.

Bonjordo, did you use a render, or did you slap a larger image into a smaller canvas? If you just use renders, you have a hell of a lot more freedom for the background.

Text needs alot of work, and you should start experimenting with lighting.. Can't say i like the duplicated part behind the render

Hm.. They seem pretty basic, no real lighting, depth, flow, blending, composition or even a border to speak of

Believe it or not, there is alot of shit that goes into a tag.. I still don't have a clue about composition
Keep trying, and read some tutorials! .. And for the love of god loose the scan lines

Well, now you know what to work on.. Start reading some intermediate tutorials to get some of that stuff down!!

Those aren't really signatures, they are banners

True, they are a bit too big for a signature. The first one is very nice, I like the flow of the tech brushes. Nothing really stands out from the traditional tech sig though.

The second one isn't as good IMO. The background is nice, but the renders don't really blend with it. Also, It doesn't look like mario got resized wrong, and his proportions look a bit off.

And as for your new tag Hades, it's pure win. Much better than the first version of that tag (which most people said was great for its balance), because you added some nice effects in, yet kept it looking just as balanced. Nice lighting too!

A few I've made for friends/people on the forums. Only problems are that I didn't do enough with the background on the second, and that the third one is way to minimalist for my liking (but I didn't know what else to do with the render he gave me, oh well.)

In the second one, it looks like the lighting is coming form the bottem?
If so, it shouldn't be there as the front of her face is in shadow.. Ill talk to you on MSN.

Very nice Ice Cold! It flows well, looks smooth, and I'm a sucker for vector-styled sigs like that, I could never get them down.

Only problems are that I don't really like the blue on his chin, his hand looks a bit out of place (his arm looks like it got cut off or something), and the H is a bit hard to read, and the C should be brought forward (but nice job with the text, I like the different colors)

Heyy im on DV.. your tag is awesome, i like the text, it adds depth.

The only thing i can think of, would be a better focal point.. my eye isint really drawn anywhere except the bright blue at the bottem.

Wow, it's been a long time. I seriously have not even opened Photoshop, or even had it installed since I started playing WoW again when BC came out. Thank god I quit and I can come back to the artz section!

Anyways, I just did something REALLY simple today. Had to get reacquainted with the program.
