I went back and started watching from the beginning again, and thought it was great. There was no character development or anything, but it was an absolute riot. Not to say that the progression of the show hasn't been amazing, but i still think its roots are sweet

Gave it a 5. Why? Because it's the first ep I watched, and it's what kept me wanting more. That, and it has the raw essence of what Pure Pwnage is (but I don't know how to describe it).

loved this episode! the whole monologue thing was great! im really not into the storyline stuff of a lot of the other eps, but loved all the lingo (although i dont play command and conquer)
favourite quotes: (too many of them i think!)
-'you're not scorsaces dude' (LOLLLL!)
-'its kubrick its like kubrick/malcom mcdowell style'
love how kyles totally into all these film makers!
-'k this like my show, ah, just gonna make a show, u know im like the star and stuff right'
repeating that he's making a show 2 mins in haha
-(pouring the glass of water)
-'are u actually there? should should i talk about how you're there and stuff? or should i like you're such a noob'
realistic elements
-'u know i just do it for the love.. lol that was like a joke right'
introducing new people to his lingo
-'lol lol oh reply! oh, gotta make ur replies like quick right: lol rofl lol noob fag lol'
his surprise actually seems genuine! hahah

ok im gonna stop cause im typing up every second line of the ep! LOL! yea i really love the fact it seems more amateur than the later ones and makes it more realistic (like this is a guy who really could, and of course does, exist)
oh and i also really like how kyle (or who ever puts these together) has jeremy for instance talking, shows another shot (like of the pouring water) while he's still talking, then goes back, another time is in ep 6 where kyle says soemthing like 'your not going anywhere' and jeremy starts walking up the stairs, next shot hes still waiting on the floor.. but thats probably more of just a general movie technique or something..

I just watched the first episode after awhile.
This was so different from all the others. Mostly because they just started and everything.
But, it's still an awesome episode and still brings a laugh out of me.

This is blatantly not a necro at all, but I went back and watch this ep last night after getting all excited from the recent news and just stared at that CRT that Jeremy uses...do they even make CRTs anymore en-masse? It just goes to show how far along technology has come, from the ball-mice to the 907 button programmable uber-micro mice.

Did i mini PP marathon with friends the other day, right from the beggining. And i gotta say, they've dated incredibly well. Pop, culture references go stale after just a few years but PP seems to have remained consistantly funny for all these years and counting. Its the mark of great comedy!
