well i have a post simmilar to this in mmo section but hear me out,
my internet is connected and runs fine i can play BF2 CS:S COD2, blah blah blah all online and it works great, but when i go to update windows, or install firefox or play WoW it wont let me, i am confused as hell...

What do you mean by wont let you? does it give you an error, can you just not connect or does it die?

ok when i go to play WoW it says cannot connect to server, when i try firefox it says, cannot connect and and i dont no why the firewalls are disabled and my internet works at my house fine.

Here's what we need to know.
Are you using a proxy?
Can you get to other websites?
WHAT error is it giving you when you try Firefox or Windows Update?
Can WoW not connect to the logon server, or just not to any server at all?

The SP2 firewall appears to still be enabled, unless you went to needless hassle to disable the system tray icon that shows up when it's off.
Did you recently make any router changes? Any patches?
Unless they changed the patcher since last time I played, that looks like a beta version of WoW. What happens when you click "Play"?
Post the results of "tracert login.worldofwarcraft.com."

i fixed it =p it woulnt let me update(pirated) windows, lol i re-installed windows and it worked
