I think this thread has just enough rational thought to keep it in GD. Pictures of cats and occasional trolling are unavoidable; they will always be part of the series of tubes that is the internet. This thread shouldn't be in crap. My 2 cents

Starting to question the decision making process behind moving a thread to crap.

This thread started off badly (spammer with a book ad)
Continued badly (Trolling by Maxdamage with people very blindly falling for it)
And is ending just as badly

This is precisely why we fight, because bitches like you roll over and suck vagina.

This isn't a debate, it's two guys throwing illogical fallacies left and right and a bunch of bystanders throwing pictures of cats and ponies to make the trollfest that much more rediculous.

Why it isn't in the depths of crap yet, I don't know.

Warned. Once in a while is fine by me. Multiple people are getting upset though [reports]. Tone the pony stuff down... cats too.

Threads used to be moved to crap because they where intrusive to the section. The section was flooded with threads of actual discussion with snooty people and snooty mods.
If we want to treat this like classic times the people posting cats and ponys would probably be warned and have 3 day suspensions. The ponys and cats would be moved to trash, and this thread would be deleted/moved according the the mods mood at that very minute.
I don't see a reason to move it or warn people. If someone else does I won't complain .

This thread is a tribute to what the world calls "pathetic" and but what really is epic. As nerds we have a taste for the finer things in life! Playing video games, going out with friends and lighting things on fire, and staying up to all hours of the night delving into the furthest reaches of the internet.

This thread is a tribute to what the world calls "pathetic" and but what really is epic. As nerds we have a taste for the finer things in life! Playing video games, going out with friends and lighting things on fire, and staying up to all hours of the night delving into the furthest reaches of the internet.

The warning shall prevent future mess, and new viewers can still view the thread in its entirety, gaining the correct context with which to read new posts.
We, who have already read those pages will likely not see those pictures again unless we choose to, thus the mess is already out of our way (well, it will be in another 10 or 11 posts...).

I think the current solution works fine.

I actually have no knowledge of ponies, I've only seen a few random clips on youtube (Just thought that I might clear that up).

Kids come up that ask me about video games and I tell them of the epicness of some games, (For example The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion) and I'm met with blank looks. I mean, oblivion isn't even that old!

There are a few kids who know their old school though. It seems there is still hope for the future of gaming...

The majority of people buying / playing games these days know of or are aware of past amazing titles.
