Hi all,

last weekend was the Diablo 3 open beta and everybody was invited to play the game. I spent some hours in the game as well and had Fraps running while I was saving the world (or at least the first Act since that's the only thing you can play in beta).
I rolled a Witch Doctor because that's the closest you can get to a Necromancer. I like having pets around and therefore loved the Necro in D2.

Well the first video just finished encoding and uploading and here I am sharing it with you.
Normally I start showing stuff from the beginning first but this time it's the other way around and I started with the end of the game - the fight against the Skeleton King Leoric which some of you might still know from the first Diablo game.

Well, here you have the chance to at least see a bit more of the game.

I honestly wasn't that impressed with it. A lot of it felt cheesy and the gameplay didn't really thrill me. I was underwhelmed so far.

Had some problems with the downloader.
When it was downloaded it wouldn't start or join games half the time because the server(s?) were so busy.
Constant error codes.
Didn't actually get to play at all.

It's Blizzard.
I don't play Blizzard games, but I know one thing they have is lots of cash, so they could afford to sort this shit out.

I will happily continue my abstinence from Blizzard titles, going strong since Warcraft 2.

Hmm, I only had some problems on Friday. But I could play the rest of weekend without problems.
I've seen much worse beta-events but yeah, I don't know why nobody can keep up with the amount of players logging it. After all they should be able to expect that there are a lot of players.

I've added more than ten videos in the last weeks as well.
Basically they show all boss kills and all ingame video cutscenes in the game.
