I mean, for the past two semesters I've been studying for over 12 hours during the semester, and over 15 (sometimes WAY over 16) during the exam time itself.
I can assure you that there is no job that would have me do that for over a few days in a row.
I was told by my doctor that I'm too sleep deprived...
(It literally made me pass out twice during the past three months.)
So yeah, keep laughing mate, but I'm working my ass off here.

I wasn't questioning that you did it, only that you think jobs don't do that. I know plenty of people personally who do that for months at a time.
That aside, I wouldn't really compare studying to work. My job is far and away more mentally exhausting than anything I did in University; I enjoy my job, but it's not even on a comparable level of exertion to University.

There are definitely things about work life that outweigh school life by a lot. Free time and difficulty are not really included in those.

I've seen people work 16 hours at my job. I'll keep it simple and say I work in a factory. It's pretty rough and not worth the money imo.
They make overtime after 8 hours (1.5x their pay)
Double time after 12 hours (2x their pay of coarse)
