Rofl at a demo being limited to an hour or two. No, time locked demos tended to be 15min. Not a healthy chunk of the game.
And you know the amazing thing? You dislike the dev, yet still feel justified enough to have their game for free, even though you dont like them and their obviously "flawed" games.
And I wouldnt know about a Skyrim demo; I have not looked for one, nor was that the only game I was referencing.

Didn't say I don't like Bethesda
But their past 4 or 5 games have had game breaking issues on release. Skyrim's just another one of them.

You only proved that I think they're totally incompetent (which I do).
I don't hate them or anything, I love that they put a lot more work into their games than certain other companies.
But I've always wondered why if they're going to put the extra time into their games they don't fucking fix the flaws that are literally gamebreaking (entire save files going corrupt in an RPG? :/. I don't even like RPGs (generally) and I know that's a fucking travesty.

You know what is funny? I keep buying all those content packs from STEAM.... I just bought the rockstar pack and I bought Dead Space 1 and 2. Then I bought the expansion packs for Fallout New Vegas. And I think Bethesda did perfect on the PC edition for Fallout 3. I did not even suffer the awesome glitch that everyone talked about for ages.... Not one flaw for me. I guess by buying a pack deal rig made it less of a chore for Bethesda to run another QA on.... But I no longer support game piracy. I do support no CD hacks because I hate Sim City 4 for that. And all the hit man games.... I should have bought them on steam but I didn't have good internet back then. Currently waiting for CS:GO and for someone to please buy me Skyrim. Because I know it will run on my PC correctly with no hitches or glitches like some people love to talk about. Oh and I found out GTA IV runs perfectly on my PC. Especially with the high res packs that keep coming out from third parties.

There is a user search function on steam. Look for the_con_sept.
I bought elder scrolls oblivion for PS3. No glitches what so ever.
I have fallout 3 on PC with all expansions but on cd. Still no glitches.
I bought fallout New Vegas on steam. Never got to see the spinning head at the beginning.
I never had one issue with any of them. I bought a gateway pc that has an ATI Radeon 5750.
So I ask... Are your issues console related or pc related?

Oblivion glitches were both PC and 360-
PC - obvious texture issues throughout games (fixable with... mods... but not patches...?)
360 - The farthest save file I have is corrupt and the one just before that was about 6 hours of work. No thanks.
Fallout 3 on 360
360 - You know that one minefield, the one you do for survival book questline? Entire chunk of land was missing. Like completely gone. Seems like something you'd see in Minecraft. I've also had several important NPCs just disappear, fall through floor, etc. during campaign.
New Vegas on 360
360 - No issues thus far, although I was able to accidentally break the main storyline by attempting to steal the package from the part where you're locked in a room with the chip and are supposed to go forward with said chip, into a room with upgraded robots or someshit
Skyrim on PC / 360
360- Save game corrupt (barely into the game), luckily I learned from my Oblivion mistakes. Still shouldn't be forced to worry about this Bethesda.
PC- I've been talking to npcs then suddenly stuck inbetween a conversation and walking around... hard to explain but basically I can't move and I'm stuck staring at this guy's face with no options of conversation to give to him. Very interesting.
*Edit*
Again, I just think you've been REAAAAALLY lucky so far with Bethesda games. I love playing them, but my god the issues.

No. The issues seem to affect you, and the other person who has "bad luck" with Bethesda games is Joel. He has said he is not one to upgrade his rig often.
I get the feeling you arent either. 5750 is not a shit teir card. Its some serious power; while not pwning any bench marks, it isnt weak.
The issue is not "luck". Its you and your hardware.
Theres a reason why Skyrim looks amazing on max. Its not meant for plebs. Thats why the console version exists.

This is so fucking vague it's not even funny. That's like telling me I might have a virus / spyware and that's what's causing my issues because Joel once had a virus and he's always having issues in his games.
Also, while I don't constantly throw wads of cash into my computer like some PC gamers do (not necessarily because it's a bad thing, but because we're not all super rich a herp de durp) I upgrade mine about once every 6-8 months, which is WELL beyond recommended minimum requirements for most of the games I play (including Skyrim, which I tried with both my old PC as well as my recently acquired one).
More simply put, ThrashTitan's explanation of my console issues was totally neglected and instead he attempted to find a solution by using a test group of a mere two people when there's entire communities of people having Bethesda issues on computers that are well beyond amazing. Also impressed by his assuming that a person using a PC to game never thought of switching around hardware or even test on two totally different computers. Veryimpressed.jpeg

Now I wonder how we could have deduced that from my previous post? Lets have a look!
This, is suggesting you do not upgrade your PC. Isnt it amazing what reading does! I am comparing you to someone else who has issues like you, who has confessed to not liking to play the parts game. Thats a rational, logical and fair comparison. I believe, you are added one point on your retard scale.
This is talking about the hardware another Bethesda player uses; a user who has no issues! How odd! It also explains how the card has power! Wow! Look at what we are learning!
This sums up the two previous statements! Just to reinforce the fact that its your shit hardware, incase you didnt read my previous statements! Which, evidently, you did not. How good of me to explain this!
And this is simply reinforcing why the hardware would be an issue! Because their games are meant to be played on max. They look like arsehole any other way, but look fantastic on max.
Seriously, with all the games you pirate, you have no excuse for not having the money to buy a new fucking GPU, some more RAM and an SSD.

Thrashtitan bitching on as usual
Also I just re-read and remembered what it is we were even arguing about this whole time.
What I'm saying is
Bethesda is good.
Bethesda's games are pretty good, except Morrowwind which was god awful.
Bethesda's games have game breaking problems on release.
That third point is due to laziness + time restrictions. Not totally their fault, but they really need people testing their shit more thoroughly.
See, where as you don't have any way to prove that Bethesda's never had a game breaking issue in any of their games, I can point to the recent GIGANTIC PS3 issue that 90% of Skyrim PS3 players (who have gone past 5mb files) have run into where their save files are corrupt / lagged to shit as well as issues like the day after New Vegas came out the patch that reset everyone's saved files on PC, etc.
*Edit*
Also, as I've said there are entire communities of people who meet past the recommended specs, as well as my own PC which is above average on the current market who have had issues.

"I'm on the 360 too. I tried everything I could. I deleted Dead Money, cleared the chache, reinstalled Dead Money, and did the same thing again in a different order. Still crashes. I feel kind of tired of this [censored]. FO3 did the same thing, it was one crash after another, constantant maitenence, just to get it to work, and then the damned thing still crashes. And NV? It's the same damned thing!!! WTF?!?!? I paid the $60 for the game, the $10 for the DLC. Did I do something wrong? Did I not sign on the right line? What do we need to do so that we can play the game? Come on Bethesda Throw us a bone, tell us what you want!! "
