Ok well, I'm ready to be open minded. I accept that they aren't necessarily thrash metal, but they are still definitely metal. More sources seem to call it metal than grind-core, metal-core, or any punk-hybrid genre. Somehow I trust those sources more than your opinion. So as a compromise, I can accept that they aren't necessarily thrash, and many songs are in a metal-core style, but for the most part Lamb of God is metal.

Are you going Soundwave? SOAD used to be my favourite band in the fucking world, but once they broke up my interest in them waned, probably due to a lack of new material. I am hoping this tour means a new album is on the way though.
I doubt I will go; they are the only pull really. I love the shit out of Trivium, but I know they will only be promoting their new album which, IMO, is complete balls.

Heh. Thrash is my favourite sub genre; dat decadent guitar work. Thats half the reason I got into metal; the sweet shredding.
I am sceptical about Korns new one; not because its dubstep, but because its Skrillex. I dont like his work; its not hard enough.

That gives me hope. I seriously wish Skrillex would inject some of his hardcore background into his dubstep. People like Torus are well hard. And some of W&Ws tracks as well.
