Battlefield 3 Or Modern Warfare 3?

(owait)
The thread title would make sense if the question was "What game are you going to get when it comes out?" and then I'd say "I'm probably going to get Battlefield 3, because Modern Warfare has been the same rinse / repeat kiddy games for the past 3/4 titles" then you'd probably say "Well that's not right, Battlefield's been doing the same thing. Not only that but lately EA's been proving that they're about as a car without wheels. Are u just fanboying?" then I'd probably say "Well yes Bad Company games have all appeared to be the same rinse/repeat formula of their own, but I've actually bought and attempted to play the past 4 Call of Duty games while avoiding Battlefield Bad Company games, so I think I'll give them a shot" then you might say "Oh well maybe ur not a Battlefield fanboy but u definitely hate CoD" then I'd answer "Yes. Yes I hate CoD. I've paid full price on launch day for every CoD game to date (not including WaW) and 2 of the 4 recent products I purchased satisfied me, to the bare minimum a game can satisfy me. Deal with it."

Also Imma report this as needing to be moved and possibly severely edited, this doesn't look right at all considering neither games are out yet.

I love MW's single player campaign.
I am still playing BC2, and do not need a new online BF yet.

Yeah neither game is out so it doesn't make sense to me how we can say which is our favorite. I know if I move this to fps section the mw3's gonna get flammed to smithereens so it's probably best to put this thread in console.
moving to console. Please make threads in the proper sections.-ThE_MarD

BFBC is still a pretty solid game, but I think it's important to remember that BFBC is not really a true BF game. It has many similarities to a BF game, but it's more like a new story in the same universe than the next game in the bf series type deal.
I will be getting BF3 because it looks amazing and I love how destructibility affects multiplayer matches. It makes each round very unique and fun. I also think MW's story lines started out solid, but they've been getting shittier and shittier, so I don't really have any more faith in it's single player either.
Give me LoL Referals.

But anyway, I STILL haven't preordered BF3.. I'm not sure where is the best choice. I want to avoid origin.
Where do you guys have it preordered? Where should I?

Love how the resident tough guy is happy to talk trash on an internet forum but back pedals as soon as he is called out. Typical coward. No doubt he'll respond to this with excessive bravado in order to restore his rightful place as a fully fledged internet badass.

I wonder if this is going to be something like LoL's out of game client thing. That wouldn't be so bad, but I'm not sure what their plan is exactly. That is a much more legitimate complaint than origin though.
edit: this picture kind of makes me think it is, but still not sure.

Well considering EA has outright said "Modders are bad and are pretty much all pirates so we will not support them lawlawl" me thinks it will take a long, long time.
I remember Battlefield 2 and Rogue Spear used to use something called something along the lines of The All Seeing Eye... this would be a good alternative if it will still be supported by EA.

Yeah, unfortunately, that's not just an alpha thing like I thought it was. But like I said, at this point I give 0 fucks. Battlefield is Battlefield.

I'll prolly buy it a few months after the game comes out, but they've definitely lost this immediate customer.

So wait is it pretty much like the LoL launcher dealie guy? I'm fine if it's pretty much a main menu replacement

LoL launches with it's own little like browser doesn't it?
I think Battlefield 3 = Your browser, you just go to their site and start up the game.
