I've already ordered the viewsonic... but it's still cancelable as it's not shipped yet. I just discovered the Asus and it pretty much just has more buys on newegg, both 5 eggs though average. Anyone have experience with these? I don't care about the HDMI as this will be solely for PC gaming.

The specs page of the ViewSonic is incomplete. Doesn't show pixel pitch and shows the refresh rate as "50 - 5 Hz".

It really looks like it. Only thing that has me worried is why the ASUS one has so many more reviews. I picked the Viewsonic cause I remember how GREAT my old classic fat monitor looked, and it was viewsonic.

Currently running a big brother version of that Asus and it's gorgeous. I'd say go with whichever one you prefer, pretty much identical.
