Being a huge fan of the books, I was really REALLY excited when they announced that HBO was interested in buying a series. The story is so dark and epic including a lot of death and strategy, and Game of Thrones just barely scratches the surface. Clash of Kings is great, and Storm of Swords has the biggest display of crazyness imaginable.
Now maybe people will get that YTMND I made

I wouldn't be surprised if they start doing 2 seasons/book after this. Once the war starts their going to need a lot more than just one season for a book.

cool thing I just noticed. The intro changes based on which locations actually appear in the show. I was wondering if they were ever going to show all the other places in this huge world GRRM created in the intro, and that's actually a really cool way of showing the phsyical location of all the places that's somewhat lost in the books.

It's still the same intro in spirit, it's just that only the cities involved in the episode are tracked between. This episode the eyrie wasn't shown and the twins were shown for example.
