Section 8 Prejudice is a pretty damn good deal for only $15 on Steam, on preorder it's only $14 lol. The first Section 8 was pretty fun but the MP was kinda lacking in playerbase, but a low release price should make for more players, so I'm buying it. icon_biggrin.gif

Holy shit that looks fun. The best part--no regenerating health, huzzah! I can't imagine the online community being particularly large, though. :\

Edit: While we're on the topic of good deals on Steam, Metro 2033 is $10 right now.

Heyyo,

Yeah that's my only worry too Otaku... the sp campaign will be stupid short so not even concerned there, but mp player base might be small... there is bots, but of course not as good as a thinking human.

I'm aware that it's something some people find fun in multi-player FPS's but I just don't, the combination of jet-packs and explosive weapons is that you just jump around shooting the ground where an enemy might land. Kind of like quake (Again, I'm not saying it makes a game bad, but It's something "I" dislike).

I'm more of a tactical, slow shooter like CS.

Tribes is better even being so old. Just buy tribes and wait for Tribes Ascend/Tribes Universe or the new Planetside.

So I got to play a multiplayer conquest game a few minutes ago. For $13 I really can't complain at all. Not a bad time-waster. Health DOES regenerate, though. :|
