I saw the gameplay trailer but the ''gameplay'' look more like cutscenes to me.. If it is actual gameplay then my pc won't be able to run it anyway, maybe on medium-low.

The graphics are cool but i liked bc2's graphics on medium good enough, Just kinda annoying that they keep improving the graphics which means u have to upgrade ur pc again if you want it to run smooth.

Will buy for me after i've seen the beta

Also, i read somewhere in an interview that the PC version will be given extra care so it wouldn't have a ''consolised'' feel to it

BC2's graphics and how hyped the Frostbite engine was pissed me off. The game should have ran much better than it did considering the visual quality wasn't much better than like MW2. And don't even get me started on BC2's shadows--holy shit were they disgusting.

They break the immersion big time. I turned them off completely.

And for a game that had a major selling point of "OMG PRITTEH GRAFIX", it sure didn't deliver.

I'll admit, the shadows were blocky - just like in bf2. Looks like they've corrected that this time, assuming the gameplay footage they've released is as real and awesome as it looks.

I don't really care that much about graphics as longs as it's runable on an normal computer and the minimum requirements aren't those of a NASA pc.

More about gameplay, ballistics and an overal balance to me, but thats kind of retorical lol

The shadows look fine to me. As for BF3.. I hope this Core2Duo will take it. BC2 runs everything on high. BF3 graphics don't look revolutionary in relation to BC2 though. The shading does look a bit better.

the animations look a lot smoother. I also think the lighting feels a lot more polished.

And the sound especially seems like another step up from BC2 which, despite its flaws, had incredible sound if nothing else.

I know there's a lot more technical aspects of an engine besides texture resolution and lighting /shadows but DAMN that trailer looks amaaaaazing, I'm glad there's still developers ballsy enough to push graphics tech further. (I know a game is not good or bad based on graphics, but for the sake of technology advancement it's great to see this)

It took a while to de-throne Crysis too, that shit's 5 years old.

It will be interesting to see how the console version looks too.

The class thing isn't that huge a deal. Classes in BF have more variance than other games anyway, so it might not be as big a loss as it sounds.

I guess with the customization it evens out, but I miss the more specialized/specific classes of BF2.
