The expansion was okay, although I didn't pay lol. Can't say much about the dlc's, seemed lame.
I'm also tempted to get my batman on, can anyone say "Kazaii purchasing Batman Arkham Asylum for $7.99 is a good decision because the game is win beyond belief!" ? If you can say it, do so before the sale ends and spell Arkham correctly if I didn't.

I played the demo, it seemed pretty awesome. I logged into steam about an hour ago, only to realize that my friend had gotten me the dragon age ultimate edition with the expansion/dlcs and stuff. Hazah!
Did you try out the demo? Are you still running your 5870? It should run really swimmingly and at least tickle your inner graphics whore a bit. Its really the reason i got it. That and I like batman.
Im actually selling my gtx280s. I got a gtx 570 for the dx11ness. starcraft 2 with 32x antialiasing, metro 2033, and bad company 2 are looking fantastic and im hitting 60fps even with my e8400.
Although it is at 4.2ghz lol.

lol that poor old GTX 280 I sold you gets whored around too much
. Glad you got a gtx 570 though, shit is beastly! I'm very sad that the 6970 got pwned by the GTX 500 series. Although once drivers issues are fixed the 570 and 6970 are supposed to even out in price and performance. If this happens I'll buy a 6970 or 570 setup, depending on if i want eyefinity or not. back on topic: I unfortunately can't try the demo cuz im not at home and im just rockin' this netbook
All I can do is buy the games. So far I've only bought battlefield complete edition so i can rock project reality and forgotten hope 2. Im waiting on some more deals, and apparently I've already missed some good ones .

Heyyo,
This game is fun if you play Coop with friends on the campaign.. playing it solo is kinda poop.
I liked awakening expansion, that one is definitely worth the coin, havn't tried the other ones minus return to Ostagar.. and that one was short as fuck but at 50% off that dlc is worth it. I hate how the Dragon armor doesn't carry over to awakening, but the king's armor from return to ostargar does.
Batman? it is easily worth $8. The reviews are right on this game, it's a really fun singleplayer game. Definitely better than games like Prototype.. I'd say it's on par with how awesome Prince Of Persia Sands of Time is. Same kinda play style as that just more battarang's, grappling hooks and gliding and the hand to hand combat works damn good.
Yeah like the Mass Effect series was 50% off.. that was a smex deal since ME is a hella fun fps/rpg. Other than that? I bought Just Cause 2 (50% off) and Fallout 3 New Vegas (33% off) which is pretty decent.

burnout paradise- alright, i like the sense of speed

lara croft - pretty sweet. Gonna get the xbox wireless controller adapter so I can play coop with the little one.
resident evil 5- looks great, but a bit disappointed with the camera and aiming, you can really tell it was originally meant for a control stick

Thus far I've gifted maybe more than I bought for myself... gifted BC2 to one bud, BC2Vietnam to another, and Mass Effect 1 to another.
I've bought myself..
Just Cause 2. Damn fun and very impressive graphics.. but seriously lacking polish.. lots of floating road pegs, sometimes turrets.. vehicle physics try to be like GTAIV but you tap anything and your vehicle spins out horribly like when you hit a floating road peg (trust me there's a lot lol) even in a dump-truck it will loose control.. I mean.. it should just plow through it! Another annoyance is missions where you have to escort someone, but they don't shoot at enemies out their window or anything and I can't either, the only way I can is if I jump onto the roof of the vehicle but then a corner comes up and I'm screwed.. that or I kill them, and 10 seconds later another guy shows up and history repeats itself.. most of the time it's better to attempt just driving full speed but once again one floating road peg and you're fucked. Other than mainly the driving issue (pretty bad since it's an open world game where I've played for eight hours and driven over 75 in game Kilometers so 47 miles) the game is definitely fun and worth the money. Btw the grappling hook gameplay takes a little bit to get used to, but once you do? it's just fun to parachute and grapple around or just grapple onto helis and taking them over (highly reccomend this for when you want to earn easy chaos points by blowing up military objects then you save on triggered charges and stuff).
Fallout 3 New Vegas.. not much to say on this one since I'm gonna try and finish Just Cause 2 which I'm sure I will unlike JC1 where I gave up last mission cause the military on full level just ruined the game with constant jet bombing runs.. at least if that happens in JC2 I can parachute and grapple above the ground to avoid stuff lol.. Purchased Dead Space, now I'm tempted by Grand Ages Rome; It's like $1. I'm kinda impatient to see what the next few days bring. I can only imagine the final deals will be the best. I only regret not jumping on The Orange Box, even if I do own half the games... TF2 and Portal would've been enough to justify the price. Maybe they'll come back.
