Love how the resident tough guy is happy to talk trash on an internet forum but back pedals as soon as he is called out. Typical coward. No doubt he'll respond to this with excessive bravado in order to restore his rightful place as a fully fledged internet badass.
I like to make werewolf...

Are you serious? They're still using Gamebryo?
If that's true then what the fuck, that engine is just not acceptable at this point

Eurogamer had an article about it a couple of weeks ago.

Howard wouldn't be drawn on many details about the game, but said the technology was derived from the engine that powered Fallout 3, albeit with significant modifications.

Seeing lots of speculation about #tesv game engine. It's brand new... and it's spectacular!
So, new engine?

I think that might actually be the single most surprising news in gaming of 2010
Bethesda is using a new engine... Who could have guessed? o.O

I think 2011 will be a good year for rpg players. Dragon Age 2, Elder Scrolls V, and Diablo 3 (hopefully) will all be released next year!

Since there's a new engine in the works I'm actually a lil excited about this.
Heres hoping they don't try and restrict modders. Because as good as they can make their game, mods will always make it better.

Heyyo,
Meh, so it won't use ID Tech 5.. as long as the game runs great with awesome visuals? I don't really care.
I doubt they'll restrict modding since this will probably still only be singleplayer since Bethesda said they focus on massively single player games.

I know... it's really like saying "What?! My lamborghini isn't a bugatti veyron?!"
I was just super excited because IdTech 5 seems like it would bring joygasm to TES. I wouldn't be surprised if they at least borrowed some stuff from the idtech engine (specifically it's intense support of megatextures, as an open world game like TES would benefit tremendously from them).
