I think we should all check it out, for something basic that runs in a browser based on real live 24hour time based decisions (upgrades) I'm having quite a bit of fun.

The game play is what I can roughly judge it as a real time internet board game.





I played previously when it BETA'd but I logged in one day to a server reset and couldn't deal without my empire, the alliance I was with fell apart but after some time away I decided to get back into it and see if I can kick it by myself.


I'll post more screens of ultimate war factory city layouts as I progress but due to the reset, I ain't go shit to show.

Sounds and looks pretty similar to Evony, I think I've had enough of that for a lifetime.

I was playing Tribal Wars for ages, which is pretty similar to Evony (made by the same people I think) and, by extension, this.

Now I've started playing Neptune's Pride, which looks pretty good too and different enought to feel at least a bit fresh.

Was a waste of my fucking time. And the shrines, etc take too fucking long to spawn. There's also too many worlds and not enough active players in the older worlds to compensate adding additional ones. 19 worlds already? Jesus Christ.

I was in two #1 alliances in World 7. The first alliance dropped places because the actives got bored and quit. So, being a top 50 player at the time I joined the new #1 alliance. Last I checked it was #2 and only a handful of people were left from when I was there. I'm not sure if my shit went lawless or not yet, because I would still long on everytime I got the warning email. I do know that my alliance seiged my castles a couple months ago.

It was too easy to cheat also. I had 3 accounts. Even though I didn't send resources to each one, when I expanded to different continents I put them all in the same area. And I joined different alliances. I was able to cause a massive war because of this also. #7 alliance vs #8 because I read something in one chat and relayed it acting like a friend told me.

And someone made a map for the game months ago, I could care less if they put it in game. In fact it's probably better outside of the game so you can keep both windows open.

I never even heard of Evony until I played this game.

You should try it now after the latest update, or just leave this thread because you hate it so much.

This is a forum and people need to know that once you hit 40-50 cities the game becomes extremely boring.

And I hope those pics aren't of your resource city because it's a terrible setup and there's a cookie cutter build for max output. All city types have a cookie cutter build, one that's better than any other.

If you read my post you would see the second two are (random ingame from website) meaning, screenshots of some other shit city. The first one is mine, but it's not exactly a resource city, it's my only city, due to the server restart I'm back to square one.

Do you know you can do that? There's an option in your profile, if you get bored with being the biggest baddest mad d00d on the server pwning everyone with your mass berserker army you can reset on a random continent.


I play this game based on what I know about it, I know there are plenty of boring stick buildings in a grid ways to get your shit maxed out, but right now I'm playing for myself.

For once I thought EA was doing something right, but a hard server reset? even after they add so many worlds with the ability to add continents to already existing worlds?
