All their RTS stuff comes from Warhammer due to it originally supposed to be a licensed game then games workshops being dicks about it and Blizzard saying we can do warhammer better than you in computer game form, then they did

That was just rumour and speculation and STILL is. It has never been confirmed by anyone.


Sure the Zerg are like the Tyranids but they're also VERY very VERY, did I say VERY? Closely modled on the aliens from Alien. Which is where a huge majority of SC's inspiration comes from? The dropship, the Siege tank, the hydralisk, the infesting of buildings and units, the eggs ect. There aren't any Warhammer quotes or mentions at all anywhere in Warcraft 1, 2 or Starcraft. Where Starcraft has quotes from its inspirations. (A fucking LOT of Aliens quotes).


Then again, there comes the subject of the Protoss. The Tau weren't an army until a few years after Starcrafts release and the Protoss are very much like the Tau in aesthetics. Or should I say the Tau are like the Protoss?

If you think Blizzard ripped of Warhammer for having green orcs who sometimes rode wolves and had ogres for allies. Maybe you should point yourself to Dungeons and Dragons and into Tolkien's direction as well.

Another reason why I don't think that this has anything to do with Warhammer is the stories. Warcraft has one of the biggest and most involved universes and I highly doubt during the development of Warcraft that they had to scrap what ever idea they had for a Warhammer story for the one they went with.

Same with the incredible story that they had for Starcraft.

Lol deffs, never realized that b4, what special character is that? Also, i wouldn't say that the protoss are like tau so much as eldar, their walkers/ tanks, even troops look alot like Eldar units. While i wouldn't say its stolen or copied, i would definitely say that there is some influence

Maxor: I don't know if that specific unit had a name.. like as a character but it's an Assault Marine. Reaper in SC2 land.

Mard: Yea man that game was fucking hard, a lot of games where. I really don't remember beating a lot of games until I was 15+ sadly :/.

OMFG! Lol.. I loved Donkey Kong 64.. I totally wanna play that again. I had fun in the multiplayer too.. singleplayer was fun until you had to be the uber-ridiculous hardcore version of Donkey Kong the original game... how do they even expect kids to fucking beat this game? lol, I think I was 14 at the time and it made me ragequit.

DO IT! Downloaded an/a emulator called project64, DL'ed a ROM-file for the game and plugged in my xbox controller (thank fuck i bought a USB-version) and lots of win ensued.
