May she rot in jail.

It's stories like this that make me want to believe Hell really does exist.

Thats fucking disgusting. I dont agree with video game manufacturers being charges over violent crimes, but this isn't a video game. This is an addictive service facebook has created that n00bs cant get enough of, and all to keep these members happy and to SELL. This makes me sick

I'm pretty sure the game is not to blame here. Clearly the woman is messed up. She could have been addicted to any other game/tv program/drug/activity and I'm sure her response to being 'interrupted' would have been similar.

edit - Actually I think I'd go even further than what I just said and state that saying that it's the fault of the game is giving her an excuse for her behaviour.

There is no excuse.

A comment from that article.

QUOTE
What is this FARMVILLE?! I assume it is some violent game involving the farming of marijuana. The girl's addiction to the game is obviously what caused this. Facebook is supposed to be a safe place for kids and I don't think these violent games should be on there!

FarmVille is a simulation game created by Zynga, a San Francisco-based company that uses Facebook and other social networks to distribute its games.

wat?

Anyway, how can you not take a break in farmville? It's not like anything is really time dependent in the game.
