I really would only get one if I can't get a hold of beautiful katamari... because I really want a katamari game to roll things into balls and to feel awesome well doing so.

I'm sure there are other games I'd get like little big planet buuut is getting a psp really worth it?
I already bring my dsi with me everywhere. lol.

I'd recommend on getting a used one if you REALLY want one. Otherwise, why bother? The DS is mucho-batter and like you said, you're saving up for a 3DS as well anyway (which at launch is going to cost more than a 360).

As an owner of a PSP (bought it for 2 games primarily), I'd say no. But I haven't really played anything besides those 2 games, so I dunno... This post is pretty crap.

If you're planning to buy a 3DS then my answer will be no. But if ever you want to try it out. I suggest the comment above me which is buying a used PSP.

If money isn't a problem, which it looks like it isn't I'd say yes.

PSP: if you're interested in playing "back ups" of your psp games, it's quite possible to do so. Also back ups of all your older systems games.
A lot of square enix's stuff is exclusive to PSP.. Kojima's too.

Me and My Katamari: I have this game, and it's excellent! Not much new music though, and you aren't making stars anymore. You're making islands for animals..

If you are only getting a PSP for 1 game then I would say this:

Find someone who has a PSP that is a friend of yours and ask them to borrow it. My vote is no unless you find more games that would interest you.

It is like buying a 360 purely for Halo 3 ONLY. ( icon_razz.gif )

And in reality, I totally got a 360 for Halo 3 only originally ( icon_razz.gif )
Because I used to PC game only and now I do both and have lots of games for the 360.

If you're gonna buy a PSP, don't buy one full price. The PSP2 is due out sometime next year, and it doesn't make sense to buy one new at this point

Get one used from craigslist or whatever and mod it to run homebrew, PS1 games, backups, and just pirate PSP games.

If you didnt have a DS then DS > PSP, but since you have one already then sure, get a PSP. The more consoles the merrier right!

wait for the 3DS. seriously. this is quite possibly going to be by far the best console ever. even if nintendo is being anal about piracy (which in turn affects homebrew...)

That is why I said be careful.

Since I have gone back to PC gaming I just can't believe how cheap it is to game on it.
I still suggest that you borrow a PSP from someone.

I did buy a DS for The World Ends With You And ended up picking up Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword and Contra 4. But then it ended shortly after I picked up Pokemon Ruby... er... can't remember which one it was but yeah... I ended up selling it... Hope it doesn't go the same way with you.

as a person who haven't played LoZ:OOT all the way through (i never got it on N64. only played parts of it at friends + emulator) so i greatly welcome this. its a shame they cant remake rare games though. i'd kill for a conker's bad furday on 3DS. and i really wanted goldeneye for the 3DS instead of the wii. sigh.
