I agree with Kanashe. Also, the show's pace was too slow -- a trend all too prevalent in TV nowadays -- and didn't imply enough of its content. Personally, I don't care much for smearing smithereens of undead on dusters; that scene could have lasted only a few seconds but instead they decided to prolong the chopping and the smearing for several excruciating minutes. An important plot development could have replaced this and other unnecessary scenes. Compared to the pilot, virtually nothing happened in the second episode. Oh, and shopping malls do have tough glass, eh!

It probably won't "pick up the pace", though I'm sure there's still gonna be plenty of action, just not as the main driving force on the episode, hell I wouldn't be surprised if some episodes are 100% about long conversations with no action on it at all.

Ep 3 was kinda boring as hell really.
At the end where they find merle's hand, i don't think that he's been eaten by the zombies because the chainlock was still intact. He probably just sawed his hand off with the hacksaw... obviously
So far i think this series should really pick up the tempo because 1 week of waiting, and seeing another boring epi is frustrating as hell..

The Grimes guy reuniting with his wife so soon into the series caused too much touchy feely drama before enough zombies could be killed. Seriously, there was only 2 zombies killed in the entire episode.
