Pretty much. Ozzie Osbourne was there last year (or the year before?) but at least his appearance made a bit of sense, being in a WoW commercial.

Damn that is random. Not really a fan either. Guess we'll see how it goes.

Didn't Jack Black have a big part in Brutal Legend? More so then just the voice of the lead?

STORM, EARTH, AND FIRE, HEED MY CALL.
That'd be epic on seven different levels

Blizzcon is for BLIZZARD GAMES. Brutal Legend is NOT a Blizzard game.

Tenacious D has nothing to do with Blizzard products as far as I know. ETC played a few years ago but that made sense. The group is made up of Blizzard employees and their songs are all based on Blizzard games.

No band in the known universe has any relevance to Blizzard or its products, so they might as well not get anyone. ETC plays every year in addition to another band.

Yes, get Ozzy every single year for every Blizzcon for the rest of eternity. Makes perfect sense.

I never said that he should perform every year at Blizzcon did I?
It is random for Tenacious D to perform because they get somebody that has nothing to do with Blizzard products at all.

No shit.
Its just it makes more sense if a band that enjoys games plays at a show about games.
Compared to say a band that has never played a game.
You know what makes sense?
Blizzard having a fuck load of money and Tenacious D being a good band that doesn't take it's self too seriously and that they would also appeal to people aged 15-35 (eg: the majority of people attending).

But you implied it. There is NOBODY ELSE that has ANYTHING to do with Blizzard, so it's Ozzy or no-one according to you.

Name one person or group who you believe would make sense, that fits your criteria of being related to Blizzard and isn't Ozzy or ETC, because ETC plays every year regardless.

Stop putting words into my mouth, I never said nobody else should play. It is random for a band with no affiliation to Blizzard to play at Blizzcon. I don't care who plays, I was merely pointing out/ agreeing with other members.

And I've been asking WHY it's random, when there is nothing that isn't "random" to compare it to.
